I’m Andy, and just like LeBron James, “I’m just a kid from Akron, Ohio.” I'm a pastor with a serious fly fishing obsession and a substantial weakness for novels, memoirs, poetry, coffee, and cardigans.
I've been an associate pastor, a church planter, a school chaplain, a pastor of an international church in Europe, and now of a great community called Saint Patrick in Denver. I completed my PhD in divinity in early 2022, and I’m completing a Doctor of Ministry program in “the sacred art of writing.” My project is a memoir of my first obsessive year of fly fishing in Colorado.
I like to roast, brew, and share coffee. Ellie and I love making Neapolitan pizzas in our back yard for friends and neighbors. I avidly follow my hometown Cleveland Guardians baseball club and Cavaliers hoops squad.

The Rev. Shane Sunn grew up in Ackerman, Mississippi surrounded by hunters, fishers and story tellers. For thirty years, Shane employed his gifts as a Presbyterian minister serving others, grabbling with words, telling stories, and writing sermons. Perhaps it was inevitable his journey would finally lead to serving others through guiding, writing, and tellings stories, some old, others new, and some yet to come.
